Family Li Imperial Cuisine Restaurant, China, 53GII
The Family Li Imperial Cuisine Restaurant, Shanghai, is located at the famous Huangpu Park, Shanghai Bund. It started its business on 27th June 2006. Located at the Shanghai Bund, the intense sunlight penetrated directly through the skylight of the restaurant. Ambient temperature within the restaurant during the noon-time would hit approximately 41 Degree Celsius. This does not augur well for business during lunch hour. The management invited air-conditioning experts, window-film specialists and energy-savings’ companies to solve the heat problem. After presenting to the management with heat demo kits, energy audit and presentation, the management had selected IQue’s anchor product, 53GII to solve its heat problem. After installing 53GII, the energy consumption of the restaurant was significantly reduced. New restaurants on the bund even flocked to the site to find out how the heat problem was resolved. |

McDonald’s, Hong Kong, 73FG
McDonald’s restaurants in Hong Kong
wanted to install window-coating films that were able to cut
off maximum heat while maintaining the original glass appearance
in their respective outlet. 73FG was
chosen due to its high visible light transmission at 70% and
its high infra-red and ultra-violet rejection at 94% and 99%
respectively. Several outlets were hence installed with 73FG,
with more outlets to be in the pipeline of installation.
The end result is a cooler and comfortable environment for
McDonald’s customers. |
