Institution
French School of Singapore, Singapore, CS800/83
The Lycee Français de Singapour (LFS) established under Singapore Law and accredited by the French Ministry of Education provides education to the children of French nationals living in Singapore. In view of the recent threat attacks globally; LFS had decided to install 8,000 square feet of their classroom windows with IQue Safety & Security film, CS800/83, for the extra protection of their students. The main feature of this film is that it is able to hold the glass shards in the event of accidental or forceful breakage, mitigating any likelihood of glass being propelled at high speeds and injuring the students. |

American Institute of Architects, USA, 73FG
The American Institute of Architects (AIA) building committee, after reviewing and testing several other good and established window film products, selected 73FG to be applied to its headquarters building in Washington D.C. According to Mr. Harry T. Gordon, FAIA, Principal of AIA, the decision was based on 73FG’s strong technical performance characteristics and its clear, neutral, non-reflective visual quality that would restore the building to its original appearance. 73FG also provided an appropriate balance of a high “total solar heat rejection” percentage with a mid range “emissivity” value while maintaining a comfortable “visible light transmission” percentage on the existing grey tinted glass. |

The Institute of Architectural Design & Research, Shenzhen University, China, 73FG
The Institute of Architectural Design & Research,
Shenzhen University (SUIADR) is established in Shenzhen, China
in 1984 and provides professional design services for urban
planning, landscape, architectural, interior and engineering
job scope. To reduce heat load, cutting down electricity consumption
and educating future architects, SUIADR’s Board of Directors
called for an open tender to review proposals that met its
needs. In spite of the high price and amidst strong competition
from established players, the in-house proprietary “Energy
Audit Calculation” by the IQue International Team provided
a strong justification in selecting 73FG.
A significant 15% savings in electrical bill was reported by
the Institute after a one-year period. |

Brain & Mind Research Institute (BMRI), University of Sydney, Australia, 53GII
The Brain and Mind Research Institute (BMRI), University
of Sydney was established in Sydney, Australia in 2002. The
building encounters problem of heat gain and it is affecting
the productivity of the workers in the Institute. Hence in
order to reduce this heat load and to provide a more conducive
working environment for the workers, BMRI explored the use
of window coatings. 53GII was recommended by V-KOOL Australia
because of its high technical performance and its ability to
keep out the heat while reducing the glare. In addition, the
Institute was able to keep its original look of the building
which was one of the council heritage requirements.
Positive feedback had been received from the builder and architects
with regards to the professionalism of installation, performance
and appearance of the film.
