Discovery at Cortex Hill, USA, 78FG

Discovery at Cortez Hill is a prestigious and luxury residential high-rise building, situated at the highest point in San Diego’s Downtown core. As these buildings constituted of large French windows, solar heat entering into the premise is one major problem, which the residents in Discovery faced. In addition, the energy costs resulting from the high air-conditioning load has also forced the management to look for a solution to solve the above-mentioned problems. The management does not want dark window film because they do not want the various blocks looking like checkerboard. 78FG is selected because it provides high clarity while rejecting a large amount of heat entering into the residences.

Lotus @ Duchess, Singapore, 73FG, 78FG & CS400/83

Tucked away in a cul-de-sac at Duchess Avenue, Lotus @ Duchess comprises of 16 units of semi-detached houses and six bungalows. The landlord of these prestigious properties wanted a solar film that could keep their tenants safe from glass breakages and cool from Singapore’s tropical climate without compromising the clear colorless appearance of the glass. In the end, 3 types of IQue films, 73FG, 78FG and CS400/83 were being selected and installed at strategic areas on every house. 73FG and 78FG provided the high heat rejection with clarity while CS400/83 provided the fragment retention property.
