RobberyToday, glass usage pervades almost every area of our modern life. With continued technological innovations, glass has become a material of choice with contemporary architects. Now, glass clad facades are no longer the domain of skyscrapers and commercial buildings. Modern home design, retail and public spaces all have to a certain degree, embraced glass.

Glass may not necessary be the weakest link in a building's design; but it can potentially be the most dangerous. From glass damage due to inclement weather to deliberate acts of terrorism, glass clad facades would require a more robust solution to tackle the problem of deaths and injury arising from flying glass shards. And this solution is IQue Safety & Security films!

Smashed GlassWhile all window films offer a degree of shatter-resistance, IQue Safety & Security films are designed specifically to withstand impact and to hold glass together. IQue Safety & Security films are tested to withstand impact, bomb blast and missile penetration, thereby reducing the liability and risk of injury from flying glass shards in the event of accidents.

IQue Safety & Security films are available with or without industry-leading spectrally selective heat rejection properties. They come in thickness of 4 and 8 mil with varying visible light transmission from 32% to 73%. IQue’s Spectrally-Selective Safety Film (SS800/73), formally known as V-KOOL Secure, is the only fragment retention film in the world that can reject up to 94.8% of infra-red and 99% of ultra-violet rays without the use of dark or reflective tint. Building and homeowners can now employ the dual advantage of a solar control film and a fragment retention film.
